Tips to finding a reflexologist and having the perfect treatment:

Make sure they are qualified, ask to see their qualifications if you are in doubt

It is a relaxing therapy that should make you feel amazingly relaxed and comfortable, if this is not the case chat to your reflexologist about it, maybe they are using too much pressure.. or find a new one

Make sure they take case notes on the condition of your feet and ask to take a copy with you, this way if you have reflexology done again in the future you can track the progression of your feet and bodies health

Drink lots and lots of water, feel free to ask for it during the session if you need it

Body noises are really natural during reflexology, if your stomach or your bottom makes some funny noises just laugh and don't worry about it as it's very common

Professional reflexology sessions last about forty five to fifty minutes depending on the size of the feet

Take your time standing up after a professional reflexology session, and where possible get somebody to pick you up and take you home afterwards

Plan to not do much after the first few reflexology sessions, reflexology has some common side affects that can last for up to twenty four hours. Some of these include drowsiness, flu-like symptoms, increased or decreased energy, and the best way to plan for this is to have time to yourself or a quiet night

When looking to find a reflexologist they can be found working in local beauty parlours, natural health therapy businesses, check around your area for schools that are teaching reflexology as they will be able to point you in a good direction, also check local business directories, a lot of reflexogists list themselves individually
