Reflexology Points on the body

Reflexology techniques are practiced on four specific points of the body

1. Foot

2. Hand

3. Ear

4. Face

Reflexology works on the principle that all organs, systems and tissues in our body are represented by reflexes on these four specific parts of the body

By stimulating reflexology points (on the foot, hand, face or ear) you are stimulating various parts of the body that the points relate to

Eg by stimulating an area on the foot that represents the ear you are also stimulating the actual ear itself

The entire human body is represented in each of those four places, however professional reflexologists will generally choose to do reflexology to the feet due to their size

Feet offer the largest area (compared to the face, hand and ear) which means you can absolutely stimulate every organ, even the tiny ones!

Foot reflexes are also closest to the surface of the skin so they can be stimulated by using a much gentler technique such as Thumb Walking

Here is an incredible reflexology fact!

The shape of the inside of our feet is uncannily similar to the shape of the spine in our bodies!

The spine is represented by the inside edge of the foot, running from the tip of the toe to the bottom of the back of the heel, and when looking at it straight on it strongly resembles the actual shape of the spine.

Another example of this incredible relationship our feet have with our body is that the waist is represented on the feet by the thinnest point halfway between the heel and pads of the toes.

True to human uniqueness the waist is in a different spot on every single person.
