Reflexology Points on the body
Reflexology techniques are practiced on four main reflexology points of the body.
Reflexology works on the principle that all of the bodies organs and systems and tissues.. everything!! Is represented by reflexes on certain parts of the body, and that by stimulating those points you can stimulate the actual part of the body that the point relates to. The four main parts on the body for receiving reflexology are the Feet, Hands, Face and Ears. The entire human body is represented in each of those places. Actually the shape of the foot is uncannily similar to the shape of the body. For example the spine is represented by the inside edge of the foot, running from the tip of the toe to the bottom of the back of the heel, and when looking at it straight on it strongly resembles the actual shape of the spine.Another example is that the waist is represented on the feet by the thinnest point halfway down the foot, and true to human uniqueness, is in a different spot on every single person. We have free printable reflexology charts and maps to help you know what areas are what. Also please find below links to easy to follow techniques and instructions for doing reflexology.
